WELCOME TO FLAT OUT TUNING

Understanding our ECU flashing process and service delivery.

Our mission is to arm you with accurate and easily digestible information about our flashing process and the part you play in it from start to finish. At Flat Out Tuning, every flash is built with precision, data, and respect for limitations. We optimize for performance and make it accessible.

1

CHOOSE YOUR FLASH

Pick the tune that fits your make, model, and year. From here you will select what tuning options you would like based on your preferences.

List any mods in the information box. This allows us to find the most suitable tune for your needs.

2

CHECKOUT

Once you’ve added your tune, complete checkout.

Your order number and instructions will be sent to you via email.

The order number is how we match the ECU and customer information in our system.

3

PACKAGE YOUR ECU

Remove your ECU carefully and place it in a padded envelope or box. Include a short note with your name and order number. Packaging quality is up to the senders discretion.

Most ECUs are under the seat, behind a side panel, or near the gas tank. Check your service manual for details. A water repelling barrier is recommended around the ECU. We are not responsible for damaged ECUs shipped to us.

4

SHIP YOUR ECU

Send your ECU to:

Flat Out Tuning
PO Box 70
Levin 5540
New Zealand

Tracked shipping is recommended. Once it arrives, you’ll receive an email confirming it’s safe in our hands. It takes 1-3 days on average to complete the service.

The PO Box ensures your ECU is securely received, logged, and handled at our processing location — avoiding missed deliveries. Our office is rural and this reduces the shipping cost for our customers.

5

WE FLASH & RETURN

We complete your tune, verify the flash, and return your ECU. Tracked shipping is provided upon order completion.

Your ECU will arrive with our Flat Out Tuning label — flashed, verified, and ready to install. You can reach out to customer support anytime after install if you have questions or feedback.
